We were previously using Service Accent in our business, but were beginning to find that there were features that we required that simply weren’t available in that system. When Vantage launched the cloud-based Vantage Online system to replace Service Accent and it included all this functionality and more, the decision to migrate was a simple one.

Results:

Our migration from Service Accent to Vantage Online was pretty much painless, and no major issues arose regarding data migration. Naturally, this was a project that needed careful management on the part of both XOS and Vantage, but with excellent communication and clear project goals and timelines the migration was delivered on time, on spec and on budget. Downtime was also kept to virtually zero.

Since migrating, we’ve particularly benefited from the live, dynamic dashboards, detailed management reporting, and the improved speed and ease-of-use of the billing functionality. It has also helped that we can now access our key system from any internet-connected device and are no longer tied to the office. The improved SOP/POP and stock and consumables management has also been a significant advantage.

Perhaps our favourite single feature is the integration with our chosen device collection agent (XDA/XSM) where meter readings are seamlessly transferred into Vantage Online. This massively speeds up our billing process for connected devices.

Going forwards, we can see that the ability to have remote workers able to access the system wherever they are, coupled with the real-time data analysis that this gives them, whether they are at home or with clients, is going to be of huge benefit to us in delivering an outstanding service to our clients.
